Let's get Digital! Digital! (That was lame.)
I designed, modeled, and animated a sludge monster using 3Ds Max, Mudbox, and MotionBuilder. I used motion capture data from Carnegie Mellon University to animate the monster. This was the first time I animated a 3D character with motion capture data.
I had some extra time and made a graphic of my dog in Sketch. His name is Atari, which is why I included the Atari logo behind his head. I should note I do not have the rights to use this logo. This was purely for a fun personal project.
This course taught the basics of creating concept art for games. It focused heavily on using Photoshop to paint images. I had never used Photoshop in this capacity before, nor had I relied so heavily on a pen and tablet to draw.
The images in this gallery show my work in learning to paint in Photoshop. I hope to continue building my skills here. Hopefully, I will find time to do so!
