I'll be honest. It's mostly games.
I am currently designing and developing an AR battleship iOS game using Unity and Vuforia. I am working in a small, collaborative team. We will soon be conducting user testing to see what works best for the user experience in augmented reality.
In returning to programming in Swift and Xcode, I wanted to learn more about what makes mobile development different than Mac Development. The most obvious differences were 1) touch screen capabilities and 2) motion sensing technology.
For my final project and honors contract for the class, I developed two games. The first was a recreation of my "Subma-ring" game but this time with motion controls and a health bar. The second game uses touch controls to move the earth and save it from being hit by falling asteroids.
This was my first introduction to Swift and Xcode. I created interactive media art applications resulting in two projects: a pumpkin face picker and a ring collection game.
To interact with the pumpking face picker, you simply need to drag the mouse across the screen. In "Subma-ring", you control the sub using the WASD keys and try to collect as many rings as you can without floating off of the screen.
